2014山大日记：外籍教师 kurt robertson-银河集团

我的名字叫库尔特·罗伯逊，现在在给山东大学的研究生上英语课。我和我的妻子到这里才3多个月，但是来中国的短短时间让我彻底地改变了之前对中国和中国人的了解和认识。
    我一直想来看看中国,但当机会真的来临了，我可以在中国居住并在山东大学这样名列前茅的大学里教英语时，我内心又矛盾了。我放弃了一个相当优沃的工作，从我的公司到这里来。一开始是相当惋惜的，不过这些感觉现在都消失了。这是一个非常重要的情感经历，它能改变我的人生，值得我为之放弃那些酬劳。
    我认为山东大学国际事务部的支持，我参与的一些校园活动，山东大学外国语学院大外部的庄鑫红（eva）对我的不断帮助，还有我八个班三百多个优秀的学生在我改变认识的过程中都扮演了很重要的角色。我热切地期待这学年接下来的时光。 

   英文原文：  

   my name is kurt robertson.  i teach english to shandong university postgraduate students.  my wife and i have been here just over 3 months.  my short time here in china has radically but positively altered the perceptions and opinions i had of china and of the chinese people before i came.  i had always wanted to visit china, but when the opportunity came to live here and teach english for a ranked university like shandong university i was ambivalent.  i gave up a sizeable employment settlement from my company to come here, and had serious regrets early on.  those have vanished.  this has been a significant emotional and lifechanging experience, well worth the money i left behind.  i think the support of the sdu department of international affairs, my involvement in campus activities, the ongoing help of zhuang xinhong (eva) from the sdu foreign language school college english department, and the fantastic 300  students in my 8 classes have played a powerful role in positively changing my views.  i look forward with enthusiasm to the rest of the school year.
